Prize terms

The prize is $5,000 worth of tools (or tools and trade gear of that retail value), as chosen by the Promoter. It is a chance to win, not a guaranteed payout. There is no cash alternative unless the Promoter says so in writing. The prize is not affiliated with any tool brand.

Who can enter

Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who work in a trade listed on RingTradie. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family are not eligible. One entry per phone number. Entry is free. You do not have to pay to enter. Listing your trade on RingTradie is the entry method.

How the draw works

The draw is a game of chance. It is held after a set number of valid entries has been received. That number is fixed by the Promoter in advance and is not published on the entry page. The draw date and time, the method of the draw, and any permit numbers required by law will be posted on this page at least seven days before the draw is conducted. The Promoter will not run the draw until any trade-promotion permits that Australian law requires for this prize pool have been obtained (including, where they apply, ACT, NSW, SA and NT).

The Promoter may pause, change or cancel the promotion where the law allows, including if permits cannot be obtained. If cancelled, no one is entitled to compensation beyond any non-excludable rights.

Winner

The winner is drawn at random from valid entries. The Promoter will contact the winner on the phone and email they entered, within 7 days of the draw. The Promoter may ask for proof of age and identity. If the Promoter cannot reach the winner after reasonable attempts over 14 days, the Promoter may draw a replacement. The prize is delivered in Australia. Claim the prize as the Promoter directs. The Promoter may publish the winner's first name and suburb.

Other

The Promoter's decision on the draw is final, except for any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. These prize terms sit with the Terms of use and Privacy Policy. Permit numbers (when issued): to be inserted here before the draw. NSW / ACT / SA / NT as required.
